Furnace Brook

Anybody ever fish this stream in CT? Are there decent size fish there?

pretty little stream. never fished it though. roaring brook in that general area is a nice stream that holds over fish very well.

My sons and I fish it in Cornwall. Small wild fish, mostly browns, but quite beautiful. I am completely content C&R small wild fish all day long! They hang in the prime runs. Not a high density but they are there...

Fished Macedonia Brook in Kent today. Alot of wild fish came to hand including some georgeous brookies and one that looked like a marble trout. Can't figure out exactly what type it was, should have brought the camera. What a perfect day to be on the water.

the furnace brook i mentioned earlier was in stafford springs ct, far eastern and northern.....sounds like i was in the wrong half of the state. could the "marble" trout have been a tiger trout? if so, and it was a wild stream born fish, that is pretty rare. wish you had a pic.......here is a non wild tiger:
