Effective flies for Landlocks

Hello all, it's been awhile!!

I was looking for some advice on flies to use to try for some landlocks in the reservoir. I understand that smelt patterns can be effective but I'm not sure what streamer patterns to get that would match smelt. Also, is it worth it to throw nymphs and buggers? What about bucktails?
