[Toad Hunter]

Been hitting Penns pretty regularly over the past two weeks.

The fishing remains to be good. With several 17"+ wild browns coming to hand each trip.

March Browns are still coming off, along with Caddis. I haven't seen much of anything else, but I admit that I haven't been fishing during the premier hatch time.

Stoneflies, Caddis, March Brown, and Olive nymphs are all working great.

The smallmouths and chubs are also out in full force. Nothing big, but have landed a few smallies in the 12"-14" range.

The Susquehanna has been fishing great for muskies, although not with a fly rod. Our average is about 1 fish every 1 1/2 hours. When I decide not to take the easy way out, I will throw some flies. I'm kind of scared to throw a 9" popper in 20mph winds, though.

Nice Musky! I've been wanting to go out for them for a while on the susquehanna, I have all the fly gear for them, and I work 5 minutes from the Middletown launch.

How many trout do those Muskies eat?!?!?!

I think they eat more suckers than trout. Probably the trout they get are ones that get into the river from the stocked streams??

Nice Musky pics. Must be down below Harrisburg or Marietta way for up north on the Susquehannie both branches down through to Millersville I caught smallies and great size walleye. Pike and Musky I caught in Raystown lake that size though.

Most are from the West Branch, but I have ventured down to the junction of the North and West Branch to pull in a few hogs.
