Back on April 5th I was fishing at the Little Lehigh and I heard a guy in the parking lot on the phone with his wife. He asked her to take the scrapple out of the freezer for breakfast when he got home. We stopped at a diner on our return to Philly and I ordered some of this scrapple, in spite of the ominous name. I guess it is an acquired taste.
My questions are: Is there a brand of scrapple that is best; is there a way to prepare scrapple that is best; is scrapple really a staple in PA?
