Where I live, most of the people who fish get their trout bait from the walmart cooler. Don't get me wrong, fish the way you want to fish. Its just that it not the way for me. I've been catch and release since I caught my first sunfish and these people just don't seem to understand the whole concept. You guys do, and I feel welcome because of that.

I sent you a PM with the link. I'll post it for everyone here but if you haven't tried a Cabelas rod don't knock it. It's spooled up with Cabelas line which I also like. I got it on sale for $50 in store but it's still a good deal at this price. I got the 7'6'' 3wt.

The first Fly rod I bought was a St. Croix for $50 and a reel from a unknown brand for $20. I caught plenty of fish on it. You don't need the most expensive gear to be a great flyfisher.
