    Little Lehigh access?

    I'm looking to head over to the Little Lehigh tomorrow. I know the fly shop there is closed on Wednesday. What's a good place to access the river? My plan was to drive to the shop and ask around there, but it looks like a no-go now. I still want to fish. Any suggestions?

    you can park at the lot by the shop. the fishing is very good above the bridge that is right by the shop. if you walk up stream you will be right by the hatchery. there are three pools that are good right below the hatchery. you will find the majority of people fishing there. fish with all different types of midges. you should be able to catch a few.

    Went up there on Wednesday. Lousy out, nobody was catching anything.

    I threw a ton of stuff at'em. Everything I had was way too big. Smallest I had was size 21 Al's Rats.

    I bought some 24 CDC BWO's and some 24 Griffith's. Those still felt too big.

    Was all midges. Even though as I was walking up to the shop, some sort of black caddis, like the one on the fly shop's website, flew right past me and I caught it. I didn't see ANY on the water. Only midges.

    Lots of nice fish in the river. Forgot to take a stream temp. All the fishes looked like they were holding.

    Bunch of suckers in the water as well.
