Well you can do it 2 ways. Buy Gore Tex and be done with it or don't and buy a new pair every 6-9months like I do. You typically get what you pay for................ Go Simms.
I'm looking for some new waders and I'm not really sure which route to go? do you guys have any favorite systems? Feedback would be much appreciated.

Spend the money.....Simms.
Luck is the Residue of Design!
I've tried many......Simms is the best that I have used. It will be hard to try any others when my Simms wear out.
Ha ha well i guess its unanimous, I've been looking at the Simms Freestone zippered stocking foots, they look really nice, awesome features and it's in my price range![]()

I've been buying new Orvis Endura waders every year, because I wear the neoprene out first, even with good Chota boots. If I go through a pair a year, they're cheap, so it doesn't seem matter much. I put around 50 days on the streams, maybe more...I lose track.
I certainly know Simm's reputation, but I've been looking at Dan Bailey's and wondered what everyone thinks of them, good or bad?
I also thought I might do some deficit spending and splurge on the Simm's....
I know a couple of guides out here in Colorado who could have a pro-deal on most any and the go back to bailey's very few problems..a ton use simms but some of the more hardcore guys like the baileys. i think aaron likes the hardy waders pretty well too so I bet the greys are good as well. i have been using simms with the occaision foray over to orvis and sure they are ok but im not spending 400+ when the bailey guaranty is just as good (which it is).
I'm on my second pair of Baily's in 2 years. The last were light weights. We'll see how long the Yellowstones last.
