Good call on this one.
I am sure there are a couple of folks willing to step up.
Loyal TPO community members,
As you all can probably see, Aaron is far too busy right now to carry the torch on the Fly of the Month series. However, I truly believe that exposure and supreme act of monthly selfless information sharing has been the backbone of our growth here at TPO and Aaron's notoriety in general. With that in mind, as a founder, I insist we carry on.
I'm putting the call out there to tyers and fisherman of all levels to submit video for the future. A quick tip or a quick fly tied in front of your HD webcam are enough. From simple san juan worm to the most ornate hopper, pick your favorites and start filming. Feel free to submit 25 flies if you feel like it. If it looks fishy, you submit it, and I'll edit it and throw it up on youtube. Most of our videos get a couple thousand views and some are inching in on 15,000 views. Keep the content coming and you could be the next big thing in fly fishing, I'll do my best to help you along the way.
Let me know below with a reply to keep an eye out if you submit anything at all.

I would like to request steelhead flies!!!! :P
Steelie flies...you got it! Just as soon as I retain the cam.
Esopus guy,
I think Aaron uses the Panasonic TS2 for the tying videos. If you want to do some fly of the months I can loan you my TS2. We can either meet at the Farmington or I can give it to you at the Catskill museum when the TPO get together is there May 14th.
I'd like to request a lm bass popper of some sort. just to mix it up.
Anybody doing tube fly videos, that is something I think we would all like to see.
Fish, sleep, eat, repeat.
This is a fly I designed, tie and use on musconetcong river. It matches very well for some the midges found on the musky. I have also had very good success with the fly else where. Tie them and Report back on how you like them and how they worked for you.
Nice fly...thank you!
