    Fishing/camping trip

    hello everyone,
    Me and some of my college buddies wanna do a camping trip this summer, does anyone have any suggestions on where we could go camping and do some good fishing for trout upstate in new york???

    Call over to Butternut Grove Campsite in Horton ( I think) it's right on the Beaverkill river within 15 min of the East branch, Willowemoc, and West branch. 607 498-4224 ask for Bernie or Jackie

    Lage George has some 400+ camp sites on islands in the Lake. They are administered by the state, and are very reasonable to rent. Obviously you would need a boat or canoe to access them, but you could end up being th eonly persons on an island and have a very nice, quiet time. Lake George fishing can be good. I have caught perch and smallmouth bass, and there are other species present as well. Water can be very rough in the right wind conditions, and there are also lots of high speed boats there on summer weekends, so pick your camp site carefully.
