    Coiled Sighter

So I made some coiled sighters the other day, but I still have a question about them. Do you put a paste type floatant on them or do they never touch the water while fishing?

    Re: Coiled Sighter

You want to keep it above the water while fishing. You want to keep contact from your flies to the sighter, so you can detect strikes.

    Use them plain no paste.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I appreciate it and all of the information I have been getting off of the website.

I guess I should have introduced myself since this was my first post.
