    Flatbrook

    I have off this Thursday and my buddy and I are thinking about fishing the Flatbrook in northern NJ. Most hatch charts are showing grey and olive caddis, does anyone know if this is accurate?

    I was there a few times last week and I saw very few bugs. Most of the insects were midges, with a few caddis and isonychia. I caught most of my fish on a dry fly fished blind in the riffled water. The fishing was quite good. There were trout in every spot that I fished.

    Sounds good, thanks bud. If we end up going there i'll put up a report on Friday. Its a toss up between there and McMichael's Creek in PA.
