I have seen the youtube vid of the fly, I just wondered if the "magic" blend is public knowledge or is that kept close hold? Reading one of Davy's post or replys it was mentioned about using claret for an Iso pattern so I just thought I would ask whats in your blend.

I can answer this one. No magic blend. We have been using the Kaufmann SLF brown stone spectrumized dubbing with great success. I has hints of the dark red or claret already built-in.

I asked because Aaron made mention of 7 or so blends. I have the dubbing you mentioned and it does have a bunch of colors mixed in. I have been known to make things harder than they have to be!
