The fishing has died down extremely, but the past three weeks were phenomenal. You really have to work to get a couple of fish now. Although if the conditions are right you can still get a pretty decent hendrickson hatch up above the hitchcock chair factory. Hopefully the sulphurs and march browns will start soon.

    Alan:

Great pics of the deer crossing. I use to see deer cross Penns the same way. I do not have any digital pics, but, I will have to look to see if I have film prints of someting similar.

It was too windy to fish for my opinion so I was out hiking with my son along the Farm today checking out some water that is off a path that was around 1/2 mile to get to. The stretch looked fishy to me, but, when we arrived home we found ticks on him and me. Tiny little ticks three on him and five on me. I never see so many tics on one little outing that we covered about a mile.

Farmington...fished it yesterday. A couple of browns...way too many misses. I think I was numb in my hand at one point. Isn't it mid-May? It was cold yesterday. Saw a couple of brutes landed...but a very modest hatch about 3 or so...everyone around us was nymping or using streamers....looked like streamers were out producing yesterday but again...far from a banner day, but it beat cutting the lawn.
