    blue gill gear

    doess a standard nine foot tapered leader to four x work for dry flies and how much htippet will i need for a good sized pond thanks alot you guys i know im a little annoying but when your trying for your first fish you get very determined as im sure all of you would know

    7.5' leader w/ or w/out tippet would be long enough for most rough fish (like blue gill, bass, etc.). Try a bigger fly to start, like a 12 or 14. They will be easier to take back out.
