    New here. so Hello everyone

Hello from Central Jersey. Found the site & got interested in it. I'm from Metuchen NJ & I'm past director of CJTU. I've been FFishing about 40 yrs, mostly for trout but have tried Bass, both species. I go to the Bahamas yearly for my bonefishing fix & just got back from the Bighorn river & had a blast. I go to Maine often , mater of fact I'm leaving tomorrow for a week up there, for landlocks in the spring & fall & this trip is for smallies. I'm retired & fish when I'm not out training my bloodhound & the wife turns & looks the other way.

Welcome to TPO Neil. Are you fishing the Rapid River system? If so throw the bass right on the shore!

Where do you fish for the landlocks? The Penobscot?

I am contemplating a bonefish trip this upcoming spring. Those things zipping around are tough to beat!

Hi Neil. I fished the Bighorn in the middle of July. The moss problem is pretty bad this year for some reason. We hit them pretty good on a split back PMD nymph and a grey Ray Charles. ( thanks to the TPO fly of the month in the archives.) The river that was really on fire for us was the Missouri. Did you get there?

Allagash for landlocked salmon! Take the time and bring the bug spray. You won't be sorry. Welcome aboard, Neil.
