one of the reasons why we have to stock so many fish.
Here in AR if you throw dead fish back you can get a fine, waste of game.
Sadly it is also a common sight to see bait fishers do exactly the same here on my river as this pigs dick.

I have no problem if he harvested and killed that fish for his legal limit.

You don't see that [behavior] so much this time a year. It is no wonder I dislike "regular season" so much. I don't have very much experience in other states, but PA has to be one of the worst states for this type of mentality and behavior.

Hey sholgate can't you read its over in Jersey, believe me i grew up fishing the Bushkill Creek since i was 5 years old i have fished it from both branches where it starts up against Wind Gap mountain to where it empties at Easton. I have seen enough of so called sportsman from across the bridge who do this as well as some who would call them selves the Last Great Sportsmen from here in Pa,Wanna know if it happens elsewhere go to Ny tribs and you will also see the same .It comes down to being brought up properly with respect for the Earth Mother and her gifts, and also respect for your brother and sisters. Maybe why we need stocking trucks becuase man hasn't learned to live within his means. Laos because Pennsylvania hasn't learned to stock trout where trout can live, instead they stock streams that get to warm lakes that get too warm. They could learn alot from Montana.
i see this alot breaks my heart even if it is a stocked fish , I'd like to rip a 10/0 hook into his corner of his mouth and then squeeze his ribcage while i rip out the hook forcefully in front of his friends so how coy his smile is after i then dunk his assinine body under the water and so if he remebers how to breathe fluid through his lungs like when he was a fetus. what a jerk.

ok sorry just peed me off now lets share great info as always and enjoy one anothers info and stories and pics.

Sadly, this type of behavior exists everywhere. There should be an IQ test for both hunting and fishing licenses.

It would be nice to see etiquette and manners taught in school too, since most parents certainly don't pass them along. Stream-side manners and littering are getting worse every year.

That really does leave a really sour taste in your mouth. It's like when I go steelheading with Esopus Guy - you see guys abusing the steel and then they release them thinking they're ok, but sure enough, they come floating down stream in a few minutes. Fresh steel are not salmon - they shouldn't be dying.
