TPO Members.

I just want to remind everyone, including ourselves (Aaron and I), what this site is here for, and regardless of any feelings anyone might have of being taken advantage of, this site is here to help spread info:

Posts should concentrate on Reports, Inquiries, and General Fishing Conversation. Any posts that are inflammatory, insulting, or otherwise ill-natured will be removed immediately, and individuals who habitually violate these rules will be asked to leave. TPO is a catch and release fly fishing community, which also welcomes anglers of all methods and persuasions, please help keep our rivers clean and our fish healthy! *NOTICE*"

If you feel unappreciated for your contributions, then just stop contributing. I tell Aaron the same thing, if you don't like the idea of someone else having the same information you have, then don't put it out there on the internet.

However, I often feel the info is going to be out there eventually anyway. Information is like water, you can dam it up, but it's only a matter of time before it moves around any impediments. In my opinion, the exchange of information only furthers all our goals in the end.

This site is here so that we can all share our experiences and knowledge, if you don't feel like sharing, then don't, but it is certainly not here for bickering or name calling or whining. We founded this site so that it would be different, and not become a cesspool of personal issues like almost every other forum. Let's focus on enjoying this resource, if you aren't enjoying it, then just don't use it.

We are very happy to have you all here sharing, I feel honored to be a part of something I believe in.
