Help on posting inline images from Picasa

    Guys,
I just spent half an hour faffing around trying to get images to appear properly using links to my Picasa albums. I wanted to get images to appear inline in the post - I tried repeatedly to insert the link as given by Picasa under "Link to this Photo" with Insert Image, Insert URL etc. etc. but never worked. Ended up right clicking on the pic in Picasa and inserting between the [img][/img] tags - this worked but uses some funny website like lh6.ggpht.com, which I'm worried is a temp location.
Enough of the issue description - can anyone tell me how to reliably and easily include the pics in my post from Picasa - and, secondly, how to insert a link to the album as per Picasa - I couldn't get that to work either - kept coming up as text in the final post...
I use Picasa as it links super easy to Aperture on my Mac...
    Cheers - JW

I suggest making a photo album here on TPO. You can make one in the "Gallery". It will make it easy to post pics on TPO.

    I agree, use our gallery.

Also, I love Picasa and I was using it for a while as well, but there is no way to put the pictures inline as they don't provide IMG tags for you.

I third the gallery suggestion but if you want a mass storage site, www.photobucket.com does give a IMG tag to like directly to sites like this.

I just put the images up using the Gallery - does seem to be the best option actually and works a treat.
It was the automated upload feature of Picasa & Aperture that makes it easy for me - I had a look at Photobucket, but I've so much up with Picasa already it doesn't seem worthwhile to change.
Appreciate the help guys - thanks.
