    The Bigger, the Better

Got a late start today, didn't hit the river until 2PM, but that's okay- I had to do some odds & ends this morning, and then I fell asleep for an hour. What I lacked in numbers was made up for in average size today. Here's the pix-

1st stop, very pretty brown, look at the black & white edging on the fins-

    Peak water temp at 4PM-

Got this beautiful 18" plus right after losing an even bigger one in the fast water-

Last spot & another 18" plus brownie-

    ...and a jumping rainbow-

Torrey got a late start? He is usually the first one on the stream and the last to leave

Very nice. Is that first brown wild?

    Aaron-
    You are half right, Lol

    BlackLabel-
I guess it's possible, I don't remember if I checked behind the left eye for a dye mark that would indicate for sure that it was stocked. I'm guessing no, because while the fish is in really good shape & nicely colored, the fins aren't very big, and usually wild browns I've caught there have really big pectoral fins. It is possible though, there is a modest percentage of wild ones in the Farmington.

I actually have a streamer in my box like the one in that rainbow's mouth. Now if I only knew how to fish it.....Nice fishies Torrey!
