Yeah ... We were there almost two weeks ago and the water was wicked high. He put her on fish and she hooked two, but wasn't able to land them. Next time.

Had a chance to float the Deerfield this past Friday and had a great day. Not a huge number of fish, but enough to keep in interesting. Mostly on streamers but a few on drys as well.

I can't seem to go out lately with out swimming. :-[ I've been trying to decide if my waders leak so I can convince the better half that I need a new pair, but I end up in the water so much it never...

I'm trying to learn more about doing it. Since joining TPO I've become a lot more proficient with nymphs so I'm trying to explore the "wet ways" and see where it leads me.

The sighter has a loop connection on both ends, and I simply made a loop to loop connection from the fly line to the sighter, and then my leader off the other end of the sighter.
