This forum was always been my favorite so glad the radio silence is over! My fishing has been on the Salmon River this Winter and had a great Summer on the WB. Also fished a lot for bass and panfish...
A great great nymph rod, have it for the WB on Aaron's recommendation
390-4 in excellent like new condition with warranty card
$500 shipped
Have both a WF-4 and a WF-6 in perfect shape look absolutely new, lawn cast for 5 minutes each
$30 apiece
Airflo's sixth sense is a great line, has a triangle like taper and a little heavy. I have it on a sage one 490 and is a cannon on that rod!
Call the Troutfitter in Syracuse
Threw this line on a sage one 490, seems like a nice presentation line but for me distance was not its forte,
Love Rio lines but this no- stretch feature has been on Airflo lines for ten years. With that said I always liked Airflo lines and felt you had a better direct connection with the line.
I ordered...
Anybody fish the Perception on any of the Sage One's? I have a One 490 and fish the Grand on it as the Gold was a bit light but the Grand is a tad bit much so maybe this line Iain between?
I have fished steelhead runs for an hour using 4x with no action and first cast with 5x hooked up. Has happened many times and Aron is right nymphing with 6x is sometimes the only way to go...
One last question for Aaron, how do you like the 9'4 weight One? I love the six but really do not like the five and am wondering if the four has some of the magic of the six?
Will look at the 390...
I have landed several hot Delaware rainbows and any fish lost were either user error or the speed of the Rainbow! With that said the One protects tippets like no other rod.
Thanks Aaron you were spot in with the 10' 4 weight recommendation. Rio LT line?
I am a admitted gear addict and am always looking for that perfect rod. I have the 10' Sage alone four weight and the 9' six weight and they are both awesome rods out of the drift boat. Looking for...
I have the Sage One 10' 4 weight and have a Hatch 4 Plus on it, perfectly balanced and feels so light. Lots of debate on reel weight but I found the Hatch at 5.2 oz to feel much better on it than...
The Willowemoc up by the Museum is a nice piece of water to get you in the swing of things!
The first ten minutes of the DVD will show you the exact set-up you need!
Wingnut
Glad you have made good use of them!
I also want to than Aaron for his indicator nymphing video and tips. On Saturday it was very cold and no wind and nymphing was the only game in town and managed some good fish. My set up is Sage One...
Windy but bugs finally showed

Seemed Ike the running line had similar texture I could be crazy ( just ask my wife),
I just cast the Rio LT with the new coating (maxcast) and I noticed that the line seems to have some very light texturing as opposed to the super smooth in the past. Not sure if Rio is heading down...
Anybody know where you can buy the big indicators that Aaron uses in the Indicator Nymphing video?
As a holder of a degree from Notre Dame I have to say that you should wear that hat with pride. Someone once said that "Notre Dame is not the best at what they do they are the only ones who do what...
