Just thought I would share a cool lookins stone I tied a couple days ago
Material List: Hook:Mustad C53S (Size 6)

Thread:6/0 Uni tan
Weight:Lead wire
Tail: Brown goose biots lifted with small ball of Hareline Dubbin Hares Ear Plus Dubbin Gold #9
Shellback: Clear plastic wrap

Legs: Brown goose Biots
Thorax:Hareline Dubbin Hares Ear Plus Dubbin Gold #9
Horns/Antenias: Two goose biots
Neck/throat: Hareline Dubbin Hares Ear Plus Dubbin Gold #9
Tying Instructions: 1-Wrap thick lead wire around the front 2/3 of the hook.
2-Start your thread and cover the lead forming a nice tapered body at the same time.
3-Form a small ball of dubbing at the hook bend to hold the biot tail up.
4-Then tie in the goose biot tail.
5-Tie in your clear shell back and your copper rib.
6-Now wrap your Hareline Dubbin Hares Ear Plus Dubbin Gold #9 forward about 3/4 the way to the bead.
7-Then pull the clear plastic strip over the body.
8-Rib the body with your copper wire.
9-Tie in some Brown swiss straw
10-Dub a small amount of the same dubbing just in front of where the swiss straw is.
11-Make legs with two more brown goose biots
12-Use sizzors to fold the swiss straw back and then forward forming one win case.(keep in mid you need to do this three times)
13- Repeat steps 10-12 two more times. (you dont need to re-tie on swiss straw just keep folding the same peice untill you have three wing cases.)
14- Tie in the antenias
15- Make a throat out of some more Hareline Dubbin Hares Ear Plus Dubbin Gold #9
16- Tie off and you are done

Very nice fly. The ones I tied up yesterday look nothing like that. :( oh well, I'll keep working on it.

Nice tie...I love that hare's ear plus dubbin...that little amount of antron adds a little flash to an otherwise drab fly

You could try wraping the body 1/3 - 1/2 of the way instead of 3/4. When I was wrighting out the instruction I was going by memory not looking at the fly and now that I look at it the body seems to be a bit shorter than 3/4 of the way.
Hope this helps
