One of last Sunday's browns:

Hopefully more tommorrow. I want to get one more good day in before they stock it on the 15th with rainbows. I'll be on the creek behind the Easton Service Center around 10 AM if anyone wants to join.
Question---Won't these stock fish disrupt the brown trout spawn?
It's not a great picture, but it's a pretty nice brook trout...

Here's a question concerning holdover trout.
Do the colors eventually get as defined as a stream bred trout, if the trout is left in a stream for a long time?
I'm no expert kilroy but I believe that once the trout begin eating natural food, the keritin in the insects brings out the color in the fish. Can anyone concur with this?
Here is my meager offering... hopefully. there is more to come this weekend!
