Re: Advice needed - recommended saltwater flies for Cape Cod in mid August?
Because we were staying near South Yarmouth, I mostly fished around the inlets and rivers, etc., nearby. I did spend an odd hour here and there, in mid day, trying other places we visited on the family trip "phases", but never found any fish (which didn't surprise me...there was no thought process there even possible...it was more like "there's water, rig up and cast"). We had little internet access for me to do research, and having only one vehicle...it makes it hard to get too serious about the fishing. Still, I caught lots of fish and cannot complain. I'll be back again next year, and wouldn't even rule out an impulse trip back this fall for a short period. I'm addicted.
Had a great time here yesterday on my river, too, though, for browns, and that was fun. It's actually RAINING as I type this...I forgot what it sounds like!

Photobucket took offense for some reason for the thumb picture and removed it? I tried again. Maybe they didn't want text on a photo, I don't know.
