Re: Wearing Camouflage on the Stream
I agree, dressing out with appropriately subdued/natural colors is as far as I'm going. I would as soon go out with tweed, tie, and a wicker creel as go full camo. I saw a french model who has a house near by up here in the Catskills at the Grand Union gesturing around and looking totally ridiculous in full Cabela the other day - tres sportif !! - but then again she could have been wearing a burlap sack as they say, and it would have been just fine. Obviously hunting is quite another matter.

I guess that if I see a guy crawling around in face paint it'll probably safe to say that it's a TPO member..lol Might be Aaron? ;D
Re: Wearing Camouflage on the Stream
Thank for the Feathercraft info. I've just ordered a pair of their (pricy) gloves. I wore my home-brew gloves this afternoon, and they were fine. But the ones you've pointed out look even better.
Adam, I think plaid is almost as effective as camo. The thing to avoid is solid colors, and especially bright ones. I'm always happy when I see "fishermen" wearing gaudy clothes or hats. It means more fish for the rest of us.

Great Shot of ol'e Ted - What's missing is the sound track - Good thing he is camoed out, because he sure is LOUD - on camera anyway
Re: Wearing Camouflage on the Stream
As we get closer to hunting season I will be breaking out the hunters orange. Way to many crazy people here in the south. I had a friend who was shot on the river. He was wearing black and was mistaken for a black bear.

Aqua Designs has great products . . . even if its the same guys who produced the fly logic rods and reels.
Re: Wearing Camouflage on the Stream
My camo shirts are Aqua Designs. They are very nice. I call the one shirt my "Letort garb."
Re: Wearing Camouflage on the Stream
You really think wearing camo makes much of a difference? I never really considered it...
