Little Lehigh and Monocacy Creek
I fished the Little Lehigh this past Saturday morning and nailed about a dozen fish, but I unfortunatly wasn't able to land any. The action really heated up when I tied on a size 22 Al's Rat with some crystal flash tied around the head to mimic the gas bubbles.
Anyways, I've been spending a lot of time in the Lehigh Valley because my fiancee is from Nazareth and we've been at her parents house the last few weekends going over wedding plans. I've been thinking about hitting up the special regulations section of Monocacy Creke that runs through the Bethlehem area. The Little Lehigh is started to feel a little too over fished. I tried Monocacy Creek a few weeks ago but didn't have much luck. Then again I only spent about an hour there before heading down to the Little Lehigh. Has anyone had any luck on Monocacy Creek or have any suggestions? I'd appreciate any info people can share as far as locations to fish go and patterns they've had succes with.
