Beat up fish on the Rockaway
Ok, so I was leaving the office yesterday, and stopped by Grace Lord Park (No spot burning here, I found it by google). The water was high, muddy and off color. Ok, video says to fish the edges, so I did. Right in the soft water off a lot of white water I caught a brownie.
Now he had a big gash on the side and his lip was pretty fouled up. The lip I get, but what was the gash from? Catch and release with dry hands? Laying him on the rocks? Trebble hook snagger? Disease? Poor guy. I netted him and never even took him out of the water.
