Super simple killer caddis
Heres a caddis fly that can be tied in a little less than 2 minutes, and the amount of lips that get stung by it is rediculas!!
This tan caddis fly is tied using medium tan round rubber, a gold killer caddis bead, and a dubbed collar. Its very simple, apply your bead build your thread base, tie down your round rubber very tight near the head. Now when you draw your thread to the bend in your hook, pull back very tight on the rubber, the tighter you pull the more slender you can make the body. When you get your thread to the bend apply a line of super glue onto the thread from the head to where your thread is hanging, by doing this is stops your rubber from over lapping, and sliding up the hook shank when wrapping the rubber, and it secures it for life!! After wrapping the rubber dub a collar, whip finish, and fish!!
