Carp Comp

Carp Classic 7 is coming up soon. I am hoping to find a team to compete on it should be a lot of fun. Carp flies I usually like are the backstabber, carp candy, and Galloups's craw. Do you guys hve any favorite flys or techniques? I would really appreciate some new input.

I like rubberlegged fox squirrel, damselfly larva or if all else fails a wite glo bug :)

I know a guy that hunts carp all the time in NJ and swears by small white woolly buggers (size 12 or 14). Also, try shooting Brandon a PM. That boy catches some carp and has some great looking flies in his box.

I have never nymphed for carp but it sounds like it would be a lot of fun, I have a question for you though, is nymphing for carp while your on mud flats productive? I have always used craw fish immitations and other similar attractor patterns.

I will defineitely PM brandon he usually has good answers, and even better Patterns ;)! I will have to try that white wooly bugger Ive never thought of it. I have a lot of time to practice haha so we will see if i find any new flies or techniques.
