The bass fishing has been red hot on the Housy this week. The hotter weather now here is pushing water temps up and getting the bass super aggressive and on the feedbag- pick your method, they are all working right now. Some pike are mixing in, along with an occasional carp. We had a 4 boat float trip go out yesterday, and they caught bass all day long- best was a measured 16 1/2" fish. 17-18" fish on various fly patterns are not at all uncommon this time of year when the conditons are like this- moderately low, clear water with warm to hot weather.
