Suggestions for Hazlton Pa.

I was just up in the Sheppton, Ringtown area of Schuylkill county. I was very interested in finding out if anyone has ever fished the Catawissa Creek? There was what looked to be some really nice stretches just off of Route 339 to be exact. I'll be heading back up this weekend for my yearly pilgrimage of gun season for the elusive whitetail. If anyone would be kind enough to offer some of their experience, I would really appreciate it. Thank You

The Little Schuylkill at Ringtown has a special regulation area that fishes generally fishes pretty well. Give it a try.

Thanks Fishinada for the information. Its ashame about the Catawissa, it sure looked beautiful. I'll have to let you know if I can get on the water next week.

I second the Little Schuylkill, especially some of the smaller open water too.
