I love tying flies on the road. Tying flies and testing them out on the fish immediately is a very valuable learning experience. My problem is deciding what I need so I end up bringing way to much stuff.
The situation at the fly tying table quickly gets out of control. I can't find anything , stuff falls off the table , and rolls around the camper. The weather here is pretty bad ,High wind, rain ,and low temperatures. I decided to seize the day and organize my table and tie more flies.
I will be tying Barr's Crane fly, Rubber Legs stone fly and drowned Trico spinners. Aaron recommended the the Crane fly larvae pattern and it has worked well. I don,t think there are Crane flies here . Barr's Crane fly works because it looks like good Trout food. Thank You Aaron
