Fished with my salty buddies early Sunday am. Fished the flats at Sandy Point. Sun was up and bright but the wind made it hard to sight fish. My brother in law and I were around the only fish busting. Fished the flats. Nice way to be in the right place at the right time. Using my small sand eel patterns, my recipe, I hooked and landed 6 while Will hooked 5 and landed 4. All fish were around 21-25 inches. Nice fish! We later in the end of Sandy Point. Nothing on the flats but there were fish on the edge of the flat and shelf. I hooked 3 more and landed 1. My other friends who decided to fish the mussle bar had no action going on so they made their way back to the flat where we were and they each hooked up with a few fish. My friend Ben had the biggest striper around 26 inches. Off the water by 11am.
