Seriously cool looking nymph
As I am packing for the move across town I realized that if I want to tie its gotta be real simple right now...like all I have unpacked is thread hooks some wires and tinsels and some partrige feathers maybe a few more things but thats about it for the next two weeks. I was surfing around Blue Ribbon's blog site, which is excellent by the way...you guys should check it out for some good flies and tips. Anyways I came across the PMD Thin Mint. Looking at it should make some of you guys drool...its thin simple ribbed with wire and looks deadly...I havent fished it but did tye a few up. Credit for this bad boy has to go to
Rowan Nyman who is a great guy and flytier extraordinaire. He used to work at Blue Ribbon in West...he has since moved on to guiding and tying as a contract tier...anyways...is super easy. Take a look.

Re: Seriously cool looking nymph
It does not look like much, but my experience with things like that is that end up being a lot more than what was originally thought. I can think of some good scenarios for that fly, of course, changing the colors will open up many other doors.
Re: Seriously cool looking nymph
ive kind of leaned toward sparse and simple lately..to me there is something very cool about something so simple. i wish i thought of it but...someone else did..it think it will be a killer.
Re: Seriously cool looking nymph
I bet that would work during a Iso hatch.
