New to sight, checking in....
Hey guys, just checking in to the sight to say hi. I haven't fished in Conn. in about 5 years, since I lived there and fished the Housy a couple of times a week. I now live in south Jersey and have been doing alot of warm water f/f. My son and I are making the trip up to the Cornwall bridge area in a couple of weeks. I have enjoyed reading all of your reports and techniques. Looking forward to learning more off of you fellas.
Re: New to sight, checking in....
welcome to the site. if the weather stays cool like it is now and the next 5 days the housatonic will fish really well. however, if we get the normal high and low temps the housy might not be so hot. only time will tell. if the housy is too warm i strongly recommend that you take a guide trip on the farmington with defeatist. no one gets more big trout... and trout for that matter than him over there. he knows all of the spots and knows where all of the big fish are. i am trying to get some of his recent pics up on here. if you go with him i am pretty sure that there is a good chance that you will be able to put yourself in those pictures.

Thank you Aaron, I will keep an eye on there local weather for up there over the next couple of weeks. If it looks like it's getting warm I'll concider, only fished the Farmington a few times while I lived up there, so I don't have any spots per say. Looks like he did well over there this morning in the rain!
