I think fishing kinda sucks right now, to be honest. Nymphing is a chore because of all the weeds, haven't seen barely any risers. I started the day nymphing below the TMA, for about 30 minutes without a hook up. Switched to a sinking line and streamers (slumpbuster conehead) and ended up landing 3 rainbows, all about 14", a few dink bass and a chub, (Yes, I'll admit it, I landed a chub.)for about 3hrs worth of mid morning fishing.
The only thing is that I'm thinking it may be really good at late night now, fishing streamers or crawfish imitations. Is it me or are there fewer risers than in years past?
