went to the river today... shhhh !!! i played hookey from work. i got up and said no work... must play. i had a great day. i got to meet juice and his uncle. we caught a bunch of trout. they were hitting anything. wets and nymphs were the best. i went and tried another location and hammered them on dry flies!!! yee haw!!! saw a bunch off caddis and some sulphers!!!! fishing is great at this time! you can fish any tactic you chose and i am almost sure that you willl catch some fish. what a great stream... i also caught some both wild brook and brown trout!! this river is a great resource for nj and deserves even more strict regulations!! i even talked to a bunch of lure fisherman and they said that they are for c and r!! what do you guys think? do you think there shou;d be c and r in nj? i am interested to hear some opinions.

That river would hold some monsters in no time if there were c&r regs on it. The habitat is there. Even if they made two of the four miles in the gorge c&r it would be incredible.

I think It should be C&R only and only stocked with brookies for opening day and the next week and then just stocked with browns
