Thread and wire spool saver

A friend of mine from California turned me on to a cheap and effective way to keep thread ,wire,floss or anything that comes on a spool from unraveling.

One box is a big supply for eight bucks. The binding combs come in strips

Cut the strip into spool sized length and wrap around the spool.
