Wood Duck

I know Wood Duck Inhabit New Jersey, But yet I have only seen one once.. Anyone have an Idea where they hang out?

There was a pair on my little creek this past spring but they didn't stay long.

I just finish up the last of my wood duck, and I have noticed a Huge price hike... It went from 75 for a huge bag to 120...Anyone duck Hunt on this site?

Walsh: you mean mallard died in the wood duck colors, right? A big bag of this costs a couple dollars. The real lemon wood duck feathers cost about $5 for six feathers. I don't use much of this anymore, since I don't really tie Catskill dries, and generally use Coq de Leon for my other tails.

Its real wood duck, i beleieve ounce is 120 now. I might be off with the ounce firgure..And for a bag of teal the same size is the same price.. I dont like the dyed lemon mallard, doesnt do it for me..I read on some website they die the mallard in green tea to get the lemon color. Im so used to the wood duck, this is gonna be a big change to use lemon mallard...Im gonna check ebay, maybe people hunt these birds and try to sell the feathers.(I have seen them do that with turkey feathers)

I helped a guy at work get his licences when nobody else could figure out how to get what he needed (disabled vet). He promised me a choice of feathers when he gets anything. If I can get some wood duck I'd be happy to share it with you. It will probably be turkey and goose though.
