Alpaco wool

Does anyone use this stuff? I was given a wad of it by a lady at the farmer's market this morning and was wondering how it reacts with water and how well it blends with other dubbing materials.

I bought some at a local fly fishing show last this year but I have not had a chance to use it much. It does seem to really repel water.

I have some Llama dubbing which must be similar to Alpaca. It is soft like beaver and I understand it takes a die coloration perfectly.
