Unannouned stocking????

I caught a ton of stocked rainbows this evening in Lopatcong Creek. These fish weren't around last week which leads me to believe that the NJ Fish and Game dumped some fish into the creek sometime in the last week. Anyone hear nything about this?
I also got 5 wild browns to go along with the 10+ Bows I got. I was fishing a czech nymph that BlackLabel tied up for me along with a small bead head nymph that I tied up last night as a dropper. I had more takes on the czech nymph, that red hotspot really turned them on. Thanks Nick.
On a related note my camera is now "sleeping with the fishes". While bending over to unhook a fly from my gravel guard it fell out of my pocket and into the water. It is toast. :(

I know that they stocked the SBR again, but I would gather that you got some new company for your "pets" over there!

Glad to hear you had some luck with the fly. Those czech nymphs have really become one of my go to flies.

I am sorry to hear about your camera. The same thing happened to me last year. Now I keep a small digital on a lanyard around my neck. It would still be no help if I fall in but it stays dry for the most part.

Good news. I set my camera on top of my router last night hoping the heat would dry it out. I put batteries in it today and woohooo, it worked.

I prefer to think this, rather than suspect that my ability to catch stockers is inconsistent at best, so I offer the former hypothesis.

Anyone hear nything about this?

Please provide some input to support my claim because I can't stand the thought that I ain't that good.

Lopat, I know what you mean. Sometimes i will get a dozen and then the next time just two. Just where do those stockers go I would like to know!

trout are really starting to migrate this time of the year as we are starting to get summer temps they may have cam from the river. Are their any sportsmans clubs or something to that nature that may have stocked trout?

Its possible that they may have swam up from the Delaware. They seemed to be more aclimated to flowing water than your normal stocked rainbow. As far as being stocked by a club I'd say no.
