Re: More Flies and my bench
Those flies look good. I like the translucency of the first one a lot.
It's nice to have a place where your desk can always be set up. Mine is right next to my window that overlooks the river. The spring leaves are starting to block my view though. =(
Re: More Flies and my bench
Well mine overlooks my back yard ... no river :(
Thanks for the comments on the fly ... I wrapped it with pearl tinsel and then covered that with the yellow tubing. It's just what I was looking for.
Cheers,
JI

The most important piece is it just what the fish are looking for?
Looking forward to a report on the success of that fly. Looks good...

Adam et al.
So the report on the flies is good. Spent a few hours on the Assabet river in Concord, MA and although it was high and running hard, and I managed a full submersion wading experience, fishing was good with the flies I tied last week. Here are two different browns who I managed to fool and was able to get the camera on ...

Heading to the Gunpowder and Savage Rivers in Western Maryland Wednesday through Saturday so I'm psyched to see
what I can come up with there ... though I'm hoping I don't need goggles and a snorkel.
