Danny Marino kicks ass at World Youth FF Championships
Our own local 15 year old talent, Danny Marino of Cornwall, CT finished 8th overall in the world at the recent World Youth Fly Fishing Championships. He is on Youth Team USA, and they almost medaled, taking 4th place. He scored the highest on the team, despite being the youngest and this being his first World Championship. Imagine how good he is going to be when he's 30? I've fished with him many times and can tell you he is the best fisherman for his age of my acquantance. And he has 4 more seasons he can be on the team, so watch out next year. Loren Williams is one of his coaches, the other is George Daniels, the current adult Team USA star.
