Little Lehigh 4/1.07

After crushing them at the Little Schuykill. i headed over to the LL to meet justin and regan. we had a very good day of fishing there. i caught about a 17" brown trout that had a trout's tail sticking out of its mouth. thats one hatchery rainbow that had a bad day. funny thing is justin asked me, what do i think they eat and i told him they eat trout that swim by... i was proved right ;D ;D i took pics of the trout and the trout it ate. the other highlight was at the end of the day we found a riffle with a ton of suckers spawning and low and behold tons of trout eating eggs. the last hour was a feeding frenzy..... good times.

Wow that is amazing............can't believe he went for your fly with that hanging out of his mouth, very very cool.

yeah when i looked into the mouth of the fish to take the hook out of the fish i saw the tail. i could not believe it. you hear of larger trout eating smaller trout but this was proof that it happens. it was an eye opening experience for me. i have some new ideas to catch some of the larger trout there!!

aaron, nice report. i've seen tha a few times over the years. always a monster brownie with an unlucky bow. some of those browns in the LL are slobs!

yeah that rainbow crossed paths with the wrong fish i guess lol!!
