Took John and Justin to the Farmington. What a tail of two rivers. Housy no people, Farmington people all over. We found many willing fish. John got a bunch of nice fish. I got to fish today so we know what I got... a breeder! We caught everything from 2 year holdovers to freshly stocked fish to you know it... We will call it "Frankenbow". Lots of flies today. We saw blue quills, Black and tan caddis, hendricksons, stones and baetis. Fish were caught on 265's and caddis larva. http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...vyapril013.jpg http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...vyapril014.jpg
Boy Aaron you sure do have a great deal of skill for getting those big fish. I am still waiting for my turn To hook one of those monsters
Thanks for giving me your fishing spot when you left yesterday. I didnt stay long mostly from being bombarded by other fishermen. I have seen better behavior in polaski on a busy day. kind of like that guy who walk across the river right in Justins fishing zone.

Dave,
It was bad out there yesterday! We asked that guy not to cross there and totally ignored us but oh well. We got fish inspite of that! It guess it got ugly after we left? The best thing to do when people act like that is not to get aggravated (like I do) but to go ahead and catch fish!

Aaron, You're not kidding about the mass of people out fishing. I thought I was at the Salmon River (CT). I found a less populated area, just two other guys fishing and indicator nymphed for a couple of hours. I hook three and landed two on a size 16 olive brown nymph. I noticed spinners starting their dance around 4 pm so I switched over to a spinner and caught two more. One was a beautiful female holdover just shy of 18".

Tell me about the Salmon! That place has gotten crazy! People walking in the water your fishing, standing in the water your fishing, will fish standing in your back pocket. Nonsense.
