Hatchery Fingerling

Given that you live in Amsterdam NY...have you done anything in VT. There is some good fishing there too. The Battenkill is famous but IMO it has sucked for a long time...but there is also the Hoosic and Mettawee...the Mettawee has some wild fish and the Hoosic has some pigs both in VT and MA...the MA section around North Adams is somewhat infamous for fishing in a cement canal but having some really large fish taken...not everyone's cup of tea. Aaron fished there last year for a day and i think did really well..anyhow Please do report whats going on back east...Colorado is great fishing but not that much greater than back east...actually I think New England especially CT and MA are very underrated on the trout fishing...which is fine by me.
