This deadly streamer kills on Lake Taneycomo. I would say it works both day and night, but as Leonard's friends know, he only fishes and guides at night!

Recipe:
Hook: TMC 200R sizes 6-10
Thread: Danville 210 black
pine squirrel
Locktite super glue (red bottle)

1. Start by placing the hook in the vise and start the thread in the center of the hook:

2. Measure the tail by placing the pine squirrel strip along the hook shank. The tip of the hair itself should be at the bend of the hook and split the hail at the eye (this will be where you tye the squirrel onto the hook:

3. Next tie down the hide with a couple of wraps of thread, Then make 2-3 wraps behind the hide (by lifting the tail) this keeps the squirrel from sliding:

4. Wind the thread to the eye of the hook:

5. This is where you add the super glue...
Lightly coat the hook shank with glue:

5. CAREFULLY but quickly palmer the squirrel toward the eye of the hook keeping the "hair and your fingers" out of the glue:

6. When you get to the eye tie off the hide.. FRIMLY sinch down the hide... without breaking the thread:

7. Whip finish:

8. Clip and head cement
